Re: New accounts not present through API
Oh gosh, yes of course that's it.
Many thanks, that's all I need!
Re: How do you issue a credit note
I think I'm going to migrate to another system.... I'm kind of tired of all the things Wave won't do....
Receipts App
Hopefully, I am posting it in the right place.
Discontinuation of receipts application is a very strange decision. Receipts was indeed perhaps the most useful feature of Waveapps. As it is now, there is no way to reliably scan invoices, while on the go.
Consolidating receipts with expenses was not difficult, and in fact could have been automated.
Can we somehow bring this most useful feature back?
Re: Restrict access for staff
This function is the only thing keeping me from using wave. Please update so we can have more restricted access. I have employees working for me that I would only like to have access to invoicing and sales. No reports, banking info, or accounting. Please please please make updates. @JamieD

Hi @HolCar , thanks for getting back. To clarify: when you click 'Prevent further usage of this account' if there are no transactions in the account, then yes - it is effectively gone permanently. Thank you for this idea to help clarify the language around this action! It's a great idea. While this isn't a part of the software we're currently working on changing, our Product Managers use the Community as a great place for gathering data on the wants and needs of our business owners, and I want to assure you that we're taking your feedback into account.
Thanks for your reply, @CallieP
Yes, one thing that I've come to realise since I started using Wave and, more specifically, browsing this forum, is that you guys don't really pay attention to the UI and/or the suggestions of the users. It's as if the mentality on your team is that the software is perfect, when it's not. Every time someone points out something that is relatively easy to implement (like, in this case, it would take less than 5 mins to substitute the text in the page), or really necessary, say for utilitarian or compliance issues, the answer is always the same: "Thank you, but no, thank you!"
Honestly, the system is very good and does a lot of things very well, but your constant reluctance to accommodate your users' needs, and your failure to realise that when everyone is claiming or something, it's not a whim, but a necessity, is beyond my level of comprehension. But I digress...
Thanks

Re: Point of sale system
I'm using the square pos, and I was relieved to find that wave and square are integrated. But, no matter what I try I can't get the ZAP work...at all. Here is a screen shot that might explain things better.

Re: SquareUp Integration
Integrate it and you will get ahead of Square.
Or add a work around to while income is categorized from Square it does the math for you to deduct the fees, sales tax collected and so on. ( workaround without direct integration.. i think most users want accounting not keep track of how many coffee is sold). my 2 cents
